Welcome to Plas Mawr, We hope you enjoy your stay.

Breakfast is served in the dining room between 8.00am and 9.15am, early breakfast is available by prior arrangement. Click here for sample menu. Check-in. This is between 4pm and 10pm at a pre-arranged time to suit you. Check-out, We ask that guests vacate their room by 10.00am on their day of departure. Parking for Plas-Mawr is easily accessible and adjacent to the main road Plas Mawr is a non-smoking establishment. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate dogs, as we have a cat!
Where to eat The three closest places to eat at when staying at Plas Mawr are:- Ynyshir Hall, Eglwysfach:- Half a mile walk. There are also Indian, Pizzeria, Hotels, Take-aways and cafes in the towns of:- Machynlleth (6 miles east)and Aberystwyth (12 miles west) We would recommended booking especially on Saturday evenings and during Holiday times. Environmental Policy

We do what we can to limit our impact on the environment without compromise to your comfort. We use low energy light bulbs, are mindful not to buy products with excessive packaging, grow our own vegetables and buy locally produced foods whenever possible. We do not change towels daily, if you wish to have fresh ones please let us know. We also recycle a large amount of our rubbish and would be happy to recycle yours.
